RM Sotheby’s is hosting an exclusive boutique auction featuring 23 exceptional vehicles on September 26, 2026, at the Park Hyatt in Zurich. Featuring the latest modern hypercars, a selection of the world’s most coveted supercars, and breathtaking examples of blue-chip classics from the 1960s and 1970s, the auction kicks off RM Sotheby’s fall calendar of live auctions.
In total, the 23 cars—which have an average age of 31 years—were estimated at CHF 20.8 million, meaning an average of CHF 905,000 per vehicle is expected. 26% of the cars will go under the hammer without a reserve price.
Few cars can claim to have attracted more attention over the past 40 years than the legendary Ferrari F40. A model is being offered in Zurich that was delivered new to Switzerland in July 1991 and features the coveted “Cat, non-adjust” specification. The vehicle still has its original V8 engine and transmission with matching serial numbers and is presented in the factory-original color combination of “Rosso Corsa” with “Stoffa Vigogna” seat upholstery. The car was certified by Ferrari Classiche in October 2018 and is being offered with its “Red Book”; the estimated value is 3,200,000–3,500,000 CHF.
With only 100 examples produced worldwide, the 2020 Pagani Huayra Roadster offers a rare opportunity to acquire one of the very last examples of the series built at the atelier in San Cesario sul Panaro. It features a stunning “Rosso Dubai” paint finish and is complemented by gold-colored, diamond-cut lightweight alloy wheels; it also features a two-tone interior that combines black premium Malevic leather and Alcantara upholstery with red accent stitching. The vehicle comes from its first owner and is being offered directly by its sole owner to date. At the time of cataloging, it had covered only 592 kilometers and is estimated at 2,500,000 to 3,000,000 CHF.
Almost as rare and certainly no less exclusive is the 2024 Mercedes-AMG ONE. Mercedes-AMG’s flagship hypercar is a technical marvel, powered by a turbocharged 1.6-liter hybrid V6 derived from the 2016 Formula 1 race cars driven by Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg. The vehicle has been owned by a single owner since its initial registration and features a black exterior with a silver trident paint scheme, as well as Petronas green accents throughout the interior design. At the time of cataloging, the vehicle had only 506 kilometers on the odometer (estimated price: 2,300,000 CHF – 2,500,000 CHF).
The 1969 Lamborghini Miura P400 S up for auction is one of 338 P400 S models ever built. It features a V-12 engine with matching numbers and is an early-production model, distinguished in particular by its massive disc brakes. The car is presented in its original factory colors, “Rosso Corsa,” with an interior in “Nero” and beige. It was originally delivered to France and previously belonged to Formula 1 winner and former Ferrari driver René Arnoux (estimated price: 1,400,000 CHF – 1,600,000 CHF).
Another Lamborghini is the 1991 Diablo, which features a powerful 485 PS 5.7-liter V-12 engine mated to a five-speed manual transmission. The vehicle, finished in “Rosso” with black leather upholstery and a mileage of just 35,423 kilometers at the time of cataloging, is estimated at CHF 160,000 – CHF 200,000.
Few cars are as evocative and instantly recognizable as a 1965 Aston Martin DB5 Vantage, gleaming in its original factory color, “Silver Birch.” As one of only 21 left-hand-drive Vantage sedans, the example offered here has benefited from a professional, comprehensive restoration carried out in 2021 by Aston Martin Works in Newport Pagnell. This stunning vehicle features its original dark blue leather interior and is estimated at 800,000 to 950,000 CHF.
