This year's pre-press conference for Retro Classics Stuttgart took place at Motorworld Böblingen on February 6. Organizers and journalists who regularly report on the trade fair were invited.
Managing Director Thilo Könicke welcomed the guests on behalf of the organizer and was pleased to announce that seven halls will be occupied this time, one more than in 2024. Hall 6 has been added, where "heavy hitters" will be on display. From commercial vehicles and fire engines to the Tesla Cybertruck.
In addition to US classics, which will take center stage this year, there will also be a special BMW 507 show. Opel anniversaries will also be honored at four stands. Three Opel clubs will be jointly organizing an exhibition on the themes of "50 years of the Manta B", "50 years of the Ascona B" and "60 years of the Kadett B".
Aston Martin will be presenting the new Vanquish at the show, possibly one of the last twelve-cylinder cars of our time. But there will also be vehicles from the world of racing that have never been seen before. Maximilian Mayer ("Aston Martin Brand Store") did not reveal the name of the new Bond actor, but said that Bentley had initially been asked whether they wanted to contribute a car for the new film. But they didn't want to. Aston Martin agreed, so the British secret agent continues to drive Aston Martin 60 years after the debut of the "Goldfinger" brand.
Actor Michael Gaedt, brand ambassador for Retro Classics, will also have his own stand for the first time this year.
