On May 1, 2017, Dinslaken will host the Porsche Friends Meeting, which is advertised as "one of the largest independent meetings of Porsche vehicles and their owners". Participants can take part in the "Concours d'Elegance", the "Cars and Drivers Presentation" and the "Battle of Sound".
A special highlight will be the "International Race Team Presentation", where various racing teams will be presented. There will also be a dealer mile with a vehicle and parts market and a number of specialists on site.
The monastery village of Ebstorf is located between Lüneburg, Uelzen and Soltau. In 2017, this monastery town looks back on 1,200 years and is celebrating this anniversary with a year of events. In this context, Ebstorf will also be represented at the Dinslaken Porsche Meeting.
