The name Alpina regularly gives BMW fans from all over the world goose bumps. It's not just tuned BMWs that leave the factory in Buchloe in the Allgäu, but very special cars that are created here on a BMW basis. The engines are refined, the chassis and gearbox are completely overhauled and the result is cars that, since the B7 Turbo, can even compete with Ferraris.
The son of the company founder, Andy Bovensiepen, talks about Alpina's philosophy, its involvement in motor racing in the past and its collaboration with BMW.
