The 7th Passione Engadina will take place in St. Moritz and the surrounding area from August 24 to 26, 2018. As in previous editions, Saturday will be dedicated to a tour through the beautiful alpine world of the Engadine, while the main attraction on Sunday will be the Concours d'Elégance.
Special Maserati show
The special show organized by Paolo Spalluto and his team is sure to be unique. It is located at the Kulm Hotel St. Moritz and brings together some of the most beautiful and interesting Maserati racing and sports cars.
These include, for example, one of the few Maserati 450 S from 1956, whose engine then also formed the basis for the Maserati 5000 GT super sports car.
The Maserati 250F with the Eldorado lettering is at least as well known. This Maserati was used when the drivers from Indianapolis and from the European Grand Prix scene were brought together and it was the first racing car in sponsor livery, nota bene for an ice cream company.
The road-going sports cars on display, such as the A6GCS from Pinin Farina or the Allemano A6G 2000, are certainly impressive.
And of course more modern sports cars such as the Maserati Khamsin or Bora are not missing.
The time series extends to the present day, so the current range is of course not missing.
It is certainly rare to see so many legendary Maserati cars in one place, and a visit to St. Moritz is worthwhile for that alone. Over 5000 enthusiasts have already visited the exhibition.
Even more Maserati
Of course, even more Maserati are expected at the Passione Engadina Rally, but other Italian brands - Ferrari, Lamborghini, Iso, De Tomaso, Alfa Romeo, Fiat, etc. - will certainly make the seventh Passione Engadina another exciting and colorful event, both for the participants and the spectators.
Incidentally, the round trip on Saturday leads over the Albula, Splügen and Maloja passes through the Engadin and neighboring Italy.
