One week after OLMA, the classic car fair in St. Gallen celebrates its tenth anniversary. Renate and Peter Hürlimann, themselves collectors and restorers, started their first fair in a hall in 2004.
With 100 exhibitors
New exhibitors were added every year and the exhibition space was constantly expanded. The fair now comprises three halls with over 100 exhibitors from Switzerland and abroad.
Numerous dealers have been taking part since the first trade fair. The organizers attach great importance to a varied and reputable offer. Once again this year, you are sure to find something you need to restore for the coming winter or what is still missing to complete your collection.
From spare parts, literature, models and tools to complete vehicles, visitors will once again be presented with a wide range of products. For classic car enthusiasts, there will be classic car clothing and hats from all eras. Several service providers such as saddlers, engine repairers, car electricians and classic car garage specialists will certainly be able to help with problems with your own classic car.
Special exhibition 90 years of Citroën Switzerland
This year, the traditional special exhibition in Hall 1.0 will showcase a number of vehicles from the history of Citroën under the motto "90 years of Citroën Switzerland".
As an additional attraction to mark the tenth anniversary, the organizers are making stand space available to several brand clubs. From the famous Trabi to Rolls-Royces, the clubs will be presenting themselves at the exhibition.
The Oldtimer Club of Eastern Switzerland and the Friends of Old Motorcycles will also be presenting great exhibits once again.
Alfa Romeo factory car as an attraction
In cooperation with Fiat Group Automobiles Switzerland, LIGA Garagen AG is planning to exhibit three wonderful Alfa Romeos from the Alfa Romeo Museo Storico in Arese in St. Gallen as a highlight to mark the 10th anniversary of the St. Gallen classic car fair.
- The Tipo RL Targa Florio from 1923 was the first vehicle with the "Quadrifoglio" and is the winning car of the 1923 Targa Florio.
- The Tipo 8C 2300 "Monza" from 1931 was the first vehicle in the 8C series
- The 1900 Sport Spider from 1954 is a one-off designed by Bertone on the basis of the "1900"
These milestones in history are framed by current models of the traditional brand.
