Audi Tradition has a lot planned for the 2017 classic car season - they are taking part in more than 20 national and international events where visitors can experience the historic vehicles live. At the Techno Classic in Essen, the Audi stand will be presenting itself under the motto "NSU - the new driving" and celebrating the 50th anniversary of the NSU Ro80.
Rally fans will certainly be delighted that Walter Röhrl will get behind the wheel of an Audi Sport quattro S1 at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, in which he set the record time on Pikes Peak in the USA in 1987. He is sure to provide some great cinema at Goodwood too
The Auto Union Silver Arrow Type C with 16 cylinders is taking part in two events this year. At the Grossglockner Grand Prix, Hans-Joachim Stuck follows in the footsteps of his father, who was nicknamed the "Mountain King" in the 1930s. The "Alpine Winner" from 1919 starts at the Classic Days Schloss Dyck.
This year's Audi Tradition program also includes the Donau Classic, the Heidelberg Historic, the Sachsenringclassic, the Bodensee Klassik, the Sachsen Classic, the Kitzbühel Alpine Rally, the Schloss Bensberg Supersport Classics and the Grand Premio Nuvolari. The final event of the season is the model car fair at the Audi Forum Ingoldstadt.
