On November 15 and 16, 2014, the popular classic car and parts market, which once attracted classic car enthusiasts from all over Switzerland every year in Zurich, will take place in Winterthur for the third time. For the second time, the event is being organized by classic car enthusiast Pierino H. Keller from GP Event GmbH.
The event is packed with attractions and aims to offer visitors a fun end to the season.
The classic car and parts market is an interesting event from a cultural and historical point of view. The diverse range of exhibits shows the various phases of automobile development.
This year, guests will be shown the Renault Juvaquatre. Only a few examples of the pre-war automobile with the sales designation Dauphinoise still exist, and it is very rare to have the pleasure of marveling at such a model. Also worth seeing is a Ford Model T that is over a hundred years old and can be admired.
Free condition check for classic/young cars
At the TCS mobile test station, classic and youngtimer vehicles built up to 1993 can be tested. The general condition check by the vehicle experts is free of charge.
Free admission for motor trade apprentices
The organizers have come up with something special to get young people interested in the motor vehicle scene: the apprentice ID card is valid as an admission ticket for trainees from the automotive industry.
Everything a car collector's heart desires
The market assortment will once again be broad and well-mixed. In addition to vehicles from different eras, hobby mechanics, parts enthusiasts, fans and interested parties will find restored and unrestored parts of all sizes.
On the enlarged exhibition area, visitors can browse for rarities for practically any type of vehicle with an engine.
There will also be other trouvailles such as old petrol stations, vending machines and signs as well as valuable specialist literature on offer.
The collection of rarities is also interesting for guests who don't want to buy, but just want to experience the special atmosphere. And there will also be a sausage stand and restaurant to cater for your physical well-being.
Few spaces still available
Only a few exhibitor spaces are still available. The best way to register is via the Winterthur Classic Car and Parts Market website, where further information can also be found.
