From July 23 to 26, 2025, the ADAC Deutschland Klassik 2025 will bring 80 historic automobiles from more than 20 different brands to the roads around Heidelberg. From elegant pre-war models to cult classics and everyday heroes to sports cars - classic car fans can look forward to a journey through seven decades of automotive history. Interested visitors will have the opportunity to experience these gems up close at selected spectator points. A special highlight: well-known classic car expert Johannes Hübner will introduce the classic cars at selected stops and provide a lively insight into the history of the rolling treasures with numerous anecdotes.
Peking to Paris Rally, Mille Miglia, Flying Scotsman Rally & Co.: The oldest vehicle in the ADAC Deutschland Klassik 2025 starting field is a true globetrotter. The Lagonda 2 Litre Sports Tourer from 1927 by Rainer and Donate Bastuck was equipped with a 4.5 liter engine back in the 1930s and has taken part in numerous long-distance rallies since the 1950s. Only one year younger is the Invicta 41⁄2 Litre High Chassis by Franz and Susanne Büttner, which was used in motorsport in England until the end of the 1960s.
A touch of science fiction is provided by two legendary DeLorean DMC-12s, known as the time machine from the cult series "Back to the Future", which Ingo and Monika Schnellenbach as well as Andreas Dreßen and Ursula Thewissen take on a journey through time during the ADAC classic car hike. The Tatra 603 by Hans-Karl Jahn and Gabriele Fiedler from 1965 also seems to be from another world. With its air-cooled V8 engine in the rear and aerodynamic design, it stands out from other cars both technically and visually.
One of the absolute dream cars of the ADAC Deutschland Klassik 2025 is the legend with the "Gullwing DNA", the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Roadster by Georg and Sigrid Maier from 1957. The Ferrari 328 GTS by Knut and Claudia Schemme, which is almost 20 years younger, also makes the hearts of sports car fans beat faster. Another highlight is the Jaguar E-Type 3.8 Litre Open Two-Seater by Hans-Jürgen and Gudrun Gebauer from 1964, which Enzo Ferrari himself is said to have once described as "the most beautiful car in the world".
Fans of everyday heroes from days gone by will also get their money's worth, as Bulli, Beetle & Co. will also be represented at the ADAC Deutschland Klassik 2025 from July 23 to 26. One of the favorites in the starting field is the NSU Prinz 4 L (built in 1970) of Georg and Ursula Müller. The VW 1200 in all its facets is an absolute crowd puller. At the ADAC Deutschland Klassik 2025, Ursula-Maria and Michael Reythberger's "Hilde" is the special "Jeans Beetle" model from 1975, whose seats and door panels are upholstered in jeans fabric.
The diverse starting field makes the ADAC Deutschland Klassik 2025 a special experience - not only for participants, but also for spectators. The historic vehicles can be viewed up close at selected points. The stations moderated by well-known classic car expert Johannes Hübner are particularly recommended. Here, the classic cars will be presented and spectators will be given an understanding of automotive history with all kinds of anecdotes and specialist knowledge.
