The classic car fair in Uster will take place for the ninth time on June 29 and 30, 2013.
The "OMU" is the trade fair for classic and vintage cars, for parts that you can no longer simply take out of the rack, for racing and other automobile stories in book and magazine form, forr the pleasure of running your eyes over elegant shapes, for insider contacts and for many beautiful and useful automotive things.
With a few of the rare exhibits of Swiss automobile construction, a super interesting and relatively unknown topic will be presented at this year's OMU.
Ideally, you should drive your classic car to the OMU, because you want the public to share in your own enjoyment of the "rusty" hobby. To this end, the Pündt schoolyard will be transformed into a grand oldie park and become a living museum with a constant stream of cars coming and going.
On Sunday, the classic cars will take part in a parade through the Zurich Oberland. There is hardly anything more relaxing.
The highlight on Sunday will be the participants of the Schnüffelfahrt 2013. Here, automobile veterans can show that even at around 100 years of age, they still have some "drive" and are not shiny brass museum pieces.
