The German Classic Car Club and the ESB Marketing Network are offering a new business platform for the fascination between chrome and nostalgia. On January 10, 2019, the first "Classic Car Marketing Forum" will take place at Motorworld Cologne for event organizers, sponsors and tourism professionals.
The main points of discussion for the expected 20 experts and around 150 participants will include what trends and developments can be expected in 2019 and what you should know about the current classic car markets. Four forums will take you into the world of old rarities on four wheels. The program includes the latest developments in the classic and vintage car market, knowledge and market research on the target group, best practice examples relating to classic car events, as well as extensive discussions and presentations on the topic of sponsorship.
Rally backwards and tips from experts
Using the four well-known events "Arosa ClassicCar", "Kitzbüheler Alpenrallye", "Bodensee-Klassik" and "Hamburg-Berlin Klassik" as examples, participants will gain deep insights into the success story of such major events. The organizers of these legendary classic car rallies will highlight opportunities and risks in the event market.
Dos & Donts for rally organizers will also be provided by former rally professional Armin Schwarz. "Classic Data" will present current facts and figures from the industry. Because legal requirements are making cooperation between sponsors and organizers increasingly difficult, Florian Schneider and Patrick Müller-Sartori, two experts who have dedicated themselves to the topic of compliance conflicts, have been invited. The lawyers will provide guidance on data protection and the most important legal issues for event organizers.
The forum will also look at how sponsors and service providers can work together. And because new generations demand new trends, a discussion panel will be dedicated to the question of how classic car owners can be reached digitally and classically. The Classic Car Marketing Forum is aimed at event organizers, sponsors, tourist destinations and interested parties from the industry.
