The ZÜRIRING open days will take place on November 3 and 4. Visitors can take the opportunity to try out simracing and the modern racing simulators in the Simulations Motodrom and even qualify for the Zurich Grand Prix on January 21 with a fast lap time.
Free rides
Two rides of 15 minutes each and one ride of 10 minutes each are free for all visitors! Enough time to set a good lap time and get to know the fast course for later competitions.
The fastest runners will then have the opportunity to win attractive prizes on January 21.
The route
The route leads through the virtual city center of Zurich past the most beautiful buildings and most prominent locations and streets.
With an average track speed of over 200 km/h and a harmonious and varied course, the track is really fast.
Racing simulator at Auto Zürich
For anyone who wants to experience the Zurich Grand Prix for 15 minutes at Auto Zürich, a racing simulator will be available at the RacingFuel Academy AG stand in Hall 7.
Visitors can do a few laps on the vintage simulator in the Mercedes Silver Arrow from 1938, the W158, on the old racetracks of yesteryear.
The 1939 Zurich Grand Prix
On October 8, 1939, a Grand Prix almost took place on the occasion of the Swiss National Exhibition "Landi" in Zurich.
However, due to the outbreak of the Second World War five weeks earlier, the Zurich Grand Prix was not held. Exactly 84 years later, the Zurich Grand Prix should have taken place in virtual form at the ZÜRIRING-Motodrom on October 8, 2023. Unfortunately, the GRAND PRIX ZÜRICH 2023 had to be postponed to January 21, 2024.
Further information and the opportunity to register for the Zurich Grand Prix can be found on the Züri Ring website
