With the launch of the new "Originals Renault Services" platform, Renault is expanding its existing offering of the virtual "Originals Museum" and "Originals Store" with a further component. Among other things, classic car fans can obtain the German-language certificates required for the registration and recognition of the vehicles.
In just four steps, owners of a Renault or Alpine model over 30 years old can obtain an application for a registration certificate with a classic car endorsement or an official production and dating certificate for their vehicle. In addition to the date of manufacture of the vehicle, this lists information from the manufacturing protocol.
German Renault document
In addition to the French certificate for the registration certificate at the "Agence nationale des titres sécurisés" (ANTS), classic car fans can also apply for a German-language official Renault document for presentation at the registration office. The international document contains the exact model designation, the age and a description of the most important vehicle features.
Express service and parcels
The cost of a French or international certificate is 75 euros. A production and dating certificate also costs 75 euros. If you would like to receive both the certificate and the certificate, you can get both together for 115 euros. The processing time is four to six weeks. In addition, the website offers a fast-track service for an extra 40 euros, with which the certificate is available in less than two weeks.
"Whether rare or widespread, classic cars often require lengthy and complicated procedures. With 'Originals Renault Services', we are ensuring that a passion for cars is no longer accompanied by unnecessary complications," says Hugues Portron, Director of Renault Classic.
The platform will be gradually expanded by 2023 to include new categories for the use of classic cars and new exclusive services for collectors.
