Be it, for example, the history of SUV beginnings with the Jeep Station Wagon, the emergence of racing car exhibitions or the extensive Mini buyer's guide. The cover story is dedicated to a large small car from Turin, the Fiat 600 Multipla. The editors summarized their experiences and impressions in a comprehensive report. So you will always have plenty of reading material, even during these difficult times!
Fiat 600 Multipla - The pioneer from Turin
Smiled at by some because of its size, loved by others: the Fiat 600 Multipla, the first minivan. For a long time, the Fiat 500 was the small car par excellence. It combined suitability for everyday use with a compact size and thus represented a good symbiosis of the aforementioned attributes. But nothing lasts forever... Because the Fiat 600 Multipla came onto the market as early as 1956. It could transport around 6 people in a length of just 3.5 meters, to name just one of its many features. We drove the forefather of minivans and summarized our impressions in a detailed report.
Willys Jeep Station Wagon - The beginning of the SUV age
The SUV is one of the best-selling cars of our time. No other vehicle category is booming as much as the "Sport Utility Vehicle". But where did this genre originate? How far back does it go? Who was the "inventor"? Our report gets to the bottom of these and other questions and sheds light on the history of these vehicles from their beginnings to the present day.
Mini (1959 - 2000) - Comprehensive buying advice
Are you thinking about buying a Mini, but are unsure what you need to look out for before you buy so that you don't end up with a pig in a poke? Then we recommend the buying guide for Minis from 1959 to 2000. With a great deal of expertise and a feel for the questions that arise before a purchase, our editors have written a comprehensive guide to buying such a small car. So you are on the safe side and won't experience any nasty surprises after the purchase.
Hispano Suiza K6 - The resurrected car
Not all company histories turn out the way the manufacturers originally intended. One such story is that of Hispano Suiza. The company's history was characterized by errors and a great deal of confusion. In the end, the brand was almost completely forgotten. We were able to get hold of one of these models, which are now coveted again, and give it another proper run. We describe our impressions of this trip in a comprehensive report. It also sheds light on the history of the company and the role of Rolls Royce.
Racing cars - From the race track to the indoor arena
The history of the first motor shows dates back to the post-war period. At that time, practically only new cars and prototypes were presented. If a show also presented racing cars, this was a welcome surprise, but it remained a rarity for the most part. The first show to exhibit racing cars on a larger scale was the Racing Car Show in London in 1960, which had just 22 participants. Our report sheds light on the history of racing car exhibitions from their beginnings to the present day and features some prominent names. Among others, Jochen Rindt should be mentioned here...
