Ford Escort: 50 years, three generations and three particularly sporty models
Ford began producing the Escort in Great Britain around 50 years ago. It was called the first European Ford at the time.
SwissClassics Revue looks back at the history and the three generations of the sporty and powerful car.
Buying advice: Chevrolet Camaro
US cars are cool, but usually a little impractical, as they usually don't fit in a standard garage. However, the Chevrolet Camaro is a different story. Not only does it fit into a garage without any problems, it also shows us that it doesn't always have to be a Mustang.
Neither the Camaro nor its sister model Pontiac Firebird have anything to hide, not then and certainly not now.
The great boyhood dream of Fredi Baumann
When you used to ask a young boy what his dream job was, racing driver was always at the top of the list, along with pilot. In our age of digitalization, neither airplanes nor cars are high on the priority scale these days.
50 years ago, things looked very different for Fredi Baumann.
Milestone Ferrari 308 GTB Vetroresina
Sergio Scaglietti was a master of hand-carved bodywork, and his preferred material was sheet aluminum. It may therefore come as a surprise to some that plastic vehicles in the form of the Ferrari 308 GT also come from this coachbuilder.
You can find out the tangible reasons for this in this report.
Swiss bodywork - Lancia Aurelia B52 Worblaufen
In 1950, Lancia presented the new Aurelia to the world and showed a heart for independent coachbuilders. In addition to the self-supporting saloons, they also built a chassis for individual bodies.
Fritz Ramseier from Carrosserie Worblaufen seized this opportunity and put an elegant and practical convertible or coupé body on it.
And then, of course, there are lots of event reviews, preview articles on upcoming events, book reviews and much more. So don't miss it!
