Rover 2000 TC
With the P6, known as the Rover 2000, Rover created a truly innovative and durable saloon, which was named the first "Car of the Year" in 1964. No wonder the car has a large fan base. One of them is Bernhard Rüst, who owns a second-hand Rover 2000 TC.
Bugatti 51 Grand Prix
When the Bugatti 35 was no longer competitive, Ettore Bugatti improved it with a new cylinder head with two overhead camshafts and called it the "Type 51". One of the 40 examples is part of the "autobau erlebniswelt" collection.
Plastic in the classic
Plastics are practical: they can be molded into almost any shape and are generally lightweight and robust, which has made them ideal for use in automotive engineering for decades. Anyone involved with classic and vintage cars will therefore almost inevitably have to deal with the care and/or repair of plastics. Countless products - and experience - can help.
The first BMW 323i
50 years ago, the first BMW three-wheeler was launched on the market, the series was internally called E21. Two years later came the top-of-the-range 323i model, the ultimate sports saloon from Munich. It still impresses today.
Purchasing advice MGF / MG TF
The MGF and the further developed TF offer a lot: lots of driving fun, open-air feeling and technical treats such as the mid-engine concept, and all this at a remarkably low price. Provided you don't buy a car with a repair backlog.
Dieter Spoerry - The Silent One
It has become quiet around Dieter Spoerry. Those 14 years in which he caused amazement among experts as a private driver because of his often daredevil rides in touring and sports cars seem to have been wiped out. Yet the scion of a family that had come to wealth and renown with a large cotton mill in Flums in the canton of St.Gallen had plenty of gasoline in his blood. His work as technical manager in the family business did not allow for a professional racing career. But after his successful debut in a hill climb, he was bitten by the motorsport bug.
