The fastest man on wheels - portrait of Jim Clark
Every racing season has its stars, every racing decade has had its heroes. But hardly any exceptional drivers of the past decades have made it onto the cover of the legendary Time magazine. Since the US magazine was first published in 1923, only three Formula 1 greats have made it onto the cover: Lewis Hamilton in December 2016, Michael Schumacher in September 2001 and Jim Clark in July 1965. Clark's portrait read: "The fastest man on wheels - world champion Jim Clark."

In the second part of the interview, he looks back on the rebirth of the Nürburgring in 1984 and his memories of the winner of the race, Ayrton Senna.
