A special exhibition in honor of the NSU company will be held exclusively at Retro Classics Bavaria from 6 - 8 December 2019. The exhibition will feature various exhibits from different eras of NSU's history and will showcase them in an impressive way.
"Drive a prince and you are a king"
For decades, the name NSU has stood for progress, mobility and superlatives. It all started with knitting machines. In 1953, NSU engineers designed their first post-war car, the NSU Prinz.
First as a three-wheeled cabin scooter with a motorcycle engine, then as a four-wheeled car, with an air-cooled two-cylinder engine with 20 hp in the rear of the car. The car was presented at the IAA in 1957. The saying "Drive a Prinz and you're a king" quickly developed.
Bridging the gap between past and present
At Retro Classics Bavaria®, eight of these vehicles can be admired side by side in a special NSU show. The exhibits range from the NSU Prinz and the NSU 1000 to the NSU Wankel/Spider, of which just under 500 examples still exist worldwide, and the NSU racing car, which is still in active use today.
The NSU special show at Retro Classics Bavaria® can be seen in Hall 4 at Stand 230.
