With Motorworld Mallorca, the Motorworld Group is creating a space for mobile passion on the largest island in the Balearics. The automotive world of experience is being created on the 80,000 square meter site of a former Coca-Cola plant.
Last Thursday, Mathias Buttkus, Managing Director of Motorworld Mallorca, laid the symbolic foundation stone together with Jaime Martínez Llabrés, the Mayor of Palma de Mallorca, and other city councillors in the presence of numerous guests. Motorworld Mallorca is scheduled for completion in fall 2024.
The location of the new automotive experience world is excellent: it is situated directly on the highway between the airport and Palma. In the future, visitors can expect the whole world of mobility on an area of over 15,000 square meters of rental space: supercars, classic cars, collector's vehicles, e-mobility, motorcycles and everything that goes with them, such as accessories, accessories and lifestyle products as well as art and much more.
"We are delighted to be creating a space for the fascinating world of mobility on one of the most beautiful islands in the world," says Mathias Buttkus. "There is a great deal of interest in the world of cars and mobility on the Balearic Islands, which is reflected in the numerous classic car clubs and their events and rallies alone."
Trade, workshops, glass boxes and gastronomy
Showrooms and workshops for dealerships, mobility services and vehicle maintenance as well as exclusive car rental outlets will be created on two levels in the factory building. In addition, there will be over 60 glass parking boxes and over 300 short-term and several hundred long-term parking spaces outside. Attractive cafés, restaurants and bars are an additional crowd-puller.
A rooftop bar is planned as a highlight. The eye-catcher in the outdoor area will be two listed Mallorcan windmills, which will be professionally renovated over the next few months.
Stylish ambience for events
The Motorworld Mallorca concept also includes a spacious and modular event area for meetings, conferences, events and presentations with a capacity of 8 to 2,000 people. In addition, it will in future be a trendy meeting place and location for automotive events as well as the start and finish of rallies, excursions and classic car tours. Motorworld Mallorca has already been a partner of the Mallorca Car Week and various other events.
