Due to Covid-19, the "Traversée de Paris", which normally takes place in July, had to be postponed to August 30, 2020. However, 600 cars (including light commercial vehicles, buses and tractors) and over 100 motorcycles and bicycles will then drive across Paris. The route has been shortened, but the motorized stroll along the Seine with a view of Notre-Dame, the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe should help to forget the hardships during the lockdown phase.
The Traversée de Paris is all about showcasing the heritage of rolling heritage and promoting sympathy for it.
Departure is at 08:00 at the Château de Vincennes, arrival from midday at the Meudon Obervatory Terrace. The vehicle exhibition with old military vehicles runs until 15:00 or 16:00.
Further information can be found on the event website.
