Since February 18, 2022, an online auction has been running on Catawiki that revolves around cars that would be very welcome at many Concours d'Elégance events.
The offer ranges from the Alfa Romeo 1900 Sprint Cabriolet Pininfarina from 1954, which is for sale with an estimated value of EUR 385,000 to 425,000, to the significantly less expensive MG TC from 1949.
Mercedes enthusiasts will find a whole selection of vehicles, including a Mercedes-Benz 220 SE Ponton Cabriolet W128 from 1960 (estimated value (EUR 135,000 to 148,500), but also a Mercedes-Benz 220A from 1955 as a Cabriolet or a Mercedes-Benz 250 SE Cabriolet from 1968.
Anyone looking for exotic Italians should take a closer look at the rare Moretti 750 Tour du Monde from 1958, which is looking for a new enthusiast for EUR 55,000 to 65,000.
The Fiat 1500 D Cabriolet by Balbo from 1949 could also be of interest, which will certainly not be seen a second time at a Concours, but which is also expected to cost EUR 100,000 to 120,000.
The two-door Fiat 1900 Granluce from 1953, estimated at EUR 48,000 to 57,000, would be somewhat cheaper.
For fans of American sports cars, there are two early Chevrolet Corvette C1s up for auction, one built in 1958 and one in 1960. The older one is expected to fetch between EUR 137,500 and 152,000.
The Maserati Khamsin from 1979 (EUR 180,000 to 200,000) and the Aston Martin DBS V8 from 1971 (EUR 115,500 to 127,500) belong to the super classic league.
Other cars, including a Lancia Aurelia B20 GT, a Jaguar E-Type and a rather special Austin-Healey can be found on the Catawiki website, along with descriptions of all the cars and many pictures.
