From October 30 to November 2, 2025, Messe Zürich will once again be transformed into a paradise for car fans, technology enthusiasts and collectors. Auto Zurich stands for innovation, diversity and automotive passion like no other trade fair in Switzerland. This is where state-of-the-art drive technologies meet timeless classics - the future and history merge under one roof.
Visitors can experience the latest models and technologies from the automotive world up close: from fully electric city runabouts and powerful hybrid vehicles to luxurious sports cars. In the "EV Experience Zone", around 45 electric vehicles are waiting to be tested during a test drive - a unique opportunity to experience the mobility of tomorrow.
But the automotive past is not neglected either. Numerous classic vehicles invite visitors to marvel, reminisce and talk shop - they form a stylish contrast to the modern electric cars and impressively demonstrate how mobility has evolved over the decades.
An absolute highlight this year is the Broad Arrow auction, which is unique in Switzerland in this form. Vehicles from the entire history of the automobile will be auctioned here - from legendary classics to rare collector's items. An event that makes collectors' hearts beat faster.
Manufactory & Classic
Lovers of exquisite small series from the top automotive segments and high-quality classics will find a newly arranged interplay of top products from the present and past in Hall 6 and thus a stage for a very special mixture of automotive fascination.
Auto Eberhart Classic will be presenting a very rare and original BMW Hartge 323i RS. Hartge carried out performance upgrades on BMW and Mini vehicles from 1971 until the company was liquidated in 2019.
Emil Frey shows an Aston Martin V8 Volante. This example was produced in 1982 and is one of 39 V8 Volante models made that year. It was delivered to the first owner in Newport Beach, California. In the following years, the vehicle came to Europe and subsequently had four owners. In 2023, on behalf of the last owner, the vehicle was imported from England to Switzerland by Emil Frey Classics AG and regularly serviced. A beautiful and almost perfect Aston Martin V8 Volante, the likes of which you don't see every day.
Lutziger Classic Cars is bringing along a Fiat Abarth OT 1300 ("OT" stands for "Omologato Turismo"). This vehicle, which has 145 hp at a sporty 8000 rpm, is a real rarity with around 50 examples built. Abarth created a maneuverable, lightweight and powerful coupé that dominated motor racing for many years.
Dönni Classic Works AG takes up the theme of "Manufactur & Classic" and, in addition to a Jaguar E-Type, shows a very rare SS1 Airline in progress - manufacture in the truest sense of the word. This vehicle is also available for purchase. The future owner can even experience the creation of the masterpiece up close.
The Touring Garage is exhibiting an Alfa Romeo 2600 Spider from 1966. The vehicle has been in the possession of the same owner for over 25 years, who has looked after and maintained it with great dedication. Most recently, the engine was overhauled and a lot of other mechanical work was carried out. A dream on four wheels that can be admired at Auto Zürich.
EV Experience
When it comes to e-mobility, many drivers are still unsure or at least cautious. There is often a desire for expert advice and comprehensive comparison options. The "EV Experience" offers the perfect platform for precisely this.
The concept starts exactly where retail partners reach their limits. In addition to comprehensive advice from independent experts, the "EV Experience" offers a large and cross-brand selection of electric vehicles for test drives.
On the one hand, vehicles from familiar brands such as Ford, Hyundai, Fiat and Alfa Romeo can be tested, and on the other hand, vehicles from manufacturers that are still rarely seen on local roads. These include many Chinese car manufacturers such as MG, BYD, Maxus and XPeng.
