"Come to Italy for a while!" is the motto on August 10 and 11, 2024 on the grounds of the Erwin Hymer Museum in Bad Waldsee. At the traditional "summertime!" festival, the museum's outdoor area will once again be transformed into a historic campsite that attracts thousands of families, classic car and camping fans, travel enthusiasts and curious visitors every year.
Just like back in the south
This year's motto "Come with us to Italy!" brings the vacation feeling of the 1950s back to life. Visitors and exhibitors will experience history and stories, dreams and longings from the land of the "Dolce Vita". Numerous lectures and talks on the topics of "travel" and "classic Italian cars" will take visitors to Sicily, South Tyrol, Apulia and Tuscany. Of course, the purchase and restoration advice for classic Eriba caravans, which is popular with visitors, is also a must.

Fans of historic Italian automobiles will also get their money's worth on the weekend. There are designated parking areas for Italian classic cars and classic car clubs on the museum grounds. Lancia, Fiat, Alfa, Ferrari and Lamborghini will get classic car fans' hearts racing.
With music and a good atmosphere
Numerous live bands will bring the summer feeling of past decades to life at the weekend and ensure an exuberant atmosphere. The highlight of the event is the "summertime!" night on Saturday evening with a big live concert.

Fancy being there? Anyone who owns a classic car and trailer, caravan, motorhome or camper van built up to 1993 or a classic Italian vehicle and would like to be part of the mobile exhibition at the "summertime!" festival can apply directly to the Erwin Hymer Museum!
A one-day ticket for the event costs 14 euros, a two-day ticket costs 23 euros. Children up to the age of 18 are free.
