From May 21 to 23, 2026, the Concours d'Elegance returns to Lugano - at a time when the Ticino sun bathes the Piazza Riforma in a special light and the spirit of racing legends such as Caracciola and Regazzoni enlivens the city. It is an invitation to combine the joy of driving with cultural discoveries, far away from the hustle and bustle of big mass events.
The substance of the Concours is defined by the precise division of the 40 registered vehicles into six classes:
- Classes 1 to 4 - Anteguerra & Postguerra (1900-1979): A cross-section through the milestones of automobile construction, from the pioneering years to the classics of the late seventies.
- Class 5 - Youngtimers & Supercars (1980-2025): Modern icons and technical masterpieces that carry the legacy of the great brands into the present.
- Class 6 - Homage to Ilario Bandini: A special category to mark the brand's 80th anniversary, chaired by Michele Bandini.
Transparency through method
The M100 method is used to ensure a fair assessment. This globally recognized system, which is also used at top events such as the Salon Privé or the Amelia Island Concours, focuses on the historical authenticity and provenance of the vehicle.
Participation in the Concours
Owners who wish to present their vehicle in this context are requested to select the appropriate category and submit their dossier via the event website, where all other information about the event can of course also be found.
