It's not for nothing that the canton of Ticino is known as Switzerland's sunniest region, with late summer temperatures and plenty of sunshine even late in October. The Lugano Classic wants to take advantage of this on October 30 and 31, 2021.
The Lugano Classic is a classic car event that aims to showcase the beauty of the Lugano region.
On Saturday, the participating vehicles are displayed in the most beautiful places in the center of Lugano, where they are exhibited for a day. In the evening, in the enchanting setting of Piazza della Riforma and the courtyard of the Town Hall, a dinner reserved for the cast and sponsors will be held.
Exploring Valcolla on Sunday
Sunday is the day dedicated to the discovery of Valcolla. The route follows the road book and starts in Piazza dei Riforma. There are various surprises along the way. Lunch will be taken at the beautiful Monchucchetto estate designed by star architect Mario Botta, and the award ceremony will take place back in Lugano.
The two-day event costs CHF 580 per team and includes the welcome aperitif and the stand-up dinner on Saturday and, of course, the road book and lunch on Sunday. A breakdown service is also included. The top five finishers will receive a souvenir and a prize.
There are special prizes for participants at the five partner hotels.
