The London to Brighton Run, the "race" for very old cars up to 1904, had taken place every year in late fall since 1947. Now those responsible have had to pull the plug and cancel the event planned for November 1, 2020.
The decision was not easy for the Royal Automobile Club, but in connection with the measures imposed by the government due to Covid-19, it was no longer conceivable to hold the event.
The RAC is now looking ahead to next year, when the 125th anniversary of the event will be celebrated "in style" on November 7, 2021.
