From February 18 to 21, 2016, the London Classic Car Show will take place at the Exhibition Centre London, which this year is dedicated to the six largest car manufacturing nations in the world. Whether Italian beauty or American muscle, British tradition or French quirk, German efficiency or Japanese technology, the London Classic Car Show will be showcasing ten selected classic cars from all six nations. In other words, 60 of the most beautiful classic cars that can be admired at the highlight of the event, the grand parade through Gran Avenue.
Even bigger and even better
The London Classic Car Show is not just a trade fair - the special thing about this event is that you can also hear, touch and experience the classics in action. The extraordinary thing is the big parade on Grand Avenue, a country road that runs through the center of the exhibition. So the whole thing is like a big moving folk festival, where spectators and classic car enthusiasts can experience their favorite cars up close and in motion.
Around 40 classic cars were on display at last year's inaugural show, including treasures such as the Maserati 250F once driven by Stirling Moss and James Hunt's iconic Marlboro-McLaren. Hard to top, but in 2016 the show is set to become even more extraordinary and even bigger.
"Everyone has a favorite classic, whether it's an Italian thoroughbred from Ferrari, a futuristic Citroën DS from France or a beefy V8 Mustang from the USA. With a selection of ten of the best classic cars from each of the six nations, we have a lot to offer our guests and everyone can decide for themselves which car is their personal favorite," said Event Director Bas Bungish.
Top brands from every country
Italy will be represented by the Ferrari and Lamborghini brands, Ford and Chevrolet will come from the USA, Bentley and Jaguar will represent Great Britain, France will be represented by Bugatti and Citroën, Mercedes and BMW will stand for Germany and Datsun and Toyota will come from Japan. The ten classic cars from each nation include both road cars and racing cars, many of which are extremely rare models.
