The "Friday Classic" is aimed at classic and vintage car enthusiasts who want to spend a day on the racetrack, improve their driving skills and celebrate personal successes. This simple concept appeals to enthusiasts who want to drive their gem safely and responsibly away from public roads. The next round of the Friday Classic starts on May 10 at the Anneau du Rhin.
A ticket includes training on the Anneau du Rhin racetrack in Alsace with a registered or insured vehicle as well as admission for any number of accompanying persons, the program and a window sticker. The cost is CHF/EUR 390 per ticket, CHF/EUR 50 for an additional driver and CHF/EUR 100 for an additional vehicle with the same driver. Hotel reservations can be made through ACS Graubünden at a cost of CHF/EUR 30; this service is free of charge for ACS members.
A pre-reserved lunch will be available for refreshments, snacks will be limited at the kiosk.
No driver's license is required to participate, helmets are mandatory, only vehicles with a roll cage require an additional HANS, which can be rented on site. In addition, a liability waiver must be completed online before the event. The vehicle regulations, particularly those relating to noise on the Anneau du Rhin race track, must be observed. It is recommended to use high-performance or semi-slick tires in good condition.
The vehicles start in five categories: Vintage Classic (up to 1990, e.g. Jaguar XK, E-Type, Morgan), Vintage Performance (up to 1995, sporty classics such as Porsche 911 to 996), Neo (from 1991, newer vehicles with moderate to strong performance), Neo Performance (from around 2010, sporty models such as Lotus Exige, Porsche GT3) and Club (for special groups, registration via ACS Graubünden).
