If you didn't find the restoration project you were hoping for under the tree at Christmas, you can fulfill your own wish for the New Year. From February 19 to 25, a collection of more than 600 classic cars in need of restoration will be broken up at Feurs in the Loire department in France.
The condition of the individual objects ranges from a solid used vehicle with a beautiful patina to a mossy rust ruin. By far the largest part of the assortment consists of French vehicles from Citroën, Peugeot and Renault as well as Rosengart and Panhard. But there are also a few Japanese off-road and Italian small cars mixed in with the French.
A few of the cars (and five motorcycles) on offer can be found on the website set up especially for the sale, but by no means all of them. A visit on site is probably the only way to find out.
