Le Mans Classic only takes place every other year and only in even-numbered years, so in 2014, from Friday, July 4 to Sunday, July 6. Important dates in the historic motorsport calendar should be planned well in advance and so we recommend that all fans of historic racing take this date into account.
6 top-class racing fields from 1923 to 1979 by day and night
Le Mans Classic is one of the really big events in this genre, in terms of size and variety it could at best be compared with the Goodwood Festival. At Le Mans Classic, however, you can see cars on the race track that you don't normally see in racing action: Porsche 917, quite a few Porsche 935s, Porsche 936s, Ferrari 512 BB LM, Inaltera, Mirage, Rondeau M379 or Ford Granturino, etc.
The races at night are certainly very special. This is where the traditional "24 Hours of Le Mans" race really comes into its own.
8000 classic cars pay a visit
The infield of the Bugatti Circuit will once again be home to around 8000 classic cars from the brand clubs. Nowhere else can you see so many vehicles of the same type at the same time.
Auctions and Concours d'Elegance
Auctions will be held again in 2014 and vehicles will be chosen as the most beautiful of the weekend. The program at Le Mans Classic really offers a lot and is very varied. The site is incredibly large and offers interesting supporting programs everywhere.
