Last year (2019), over 900 classic and vintage cars and around 4,000 visitors attended the Lägern Classic. With the Federal Council's decision to ban events with more than 1,000 participants until 1 October, it was clear to the organizing association that no Lägern Classic could take place on the Hubacontrol site in Würenlos in 2020. But September 6 will not be without classic cars.
This year, the start and finish for the Lägern Classic Cruise, a round trip around the Lägern, will be there. A ride from Würenlos via Otelfingen, Buchs, Regensdorf, Dielsdorf, Niederweningen, Ennetbaden, Baden and Wettingen back to Würenlos - or the whole thing in the opposite direction.
Participants decide how they want to circle the Lägern. They can plan this individually or with a few colleagues and are sure to meet like-minded people on the tour.
The Lägern Classic Association is currently in contact with the restaurants along the route. Interested parties can find out where a culinary pit stop is possible on the association's homepage. There will also be a small catering facility at the start/finish point at Hubacontrol in Würenlos.
The Lägern Classic Cruise is NOT an organized corso, but individual rides around the Lägern. Participants will join the normal road traffic. All traffic rules must be observed during the cruise!
Other road users must not be hindered or stopped.
