Although the situation surrounding the coronavirus is still very uncertain, the OC has unanimously decided to resume the organization of the race from 4 to 6 June 2021.
The work has begun
The first OC meetings have already taken place and the organizing team is motivated and confident. "The numerous positive feedbacks from motorsport athletes, sponsors and patrons have signaled that we are on the right track," says Peter Rufibach, OC President.
The starting places that were once again advertised were almost completely filled within a few days. "The announced big names in classic car racing have confirmed their participation. This means that the promised interesting field of participants can be presented at the Kerenzerberg Race 2021," says Franz Leupi, OC member and expert on the motorsport scene.
Organization is warming up
According to the organizer, the Covid-19 situation will continue to be monitored and followed very closely. Preparations will continue as long as the conditions allow the race to take place. The aim is to offer all spectators, helpers, participants and everyone else involved two unforgettable days of racing from Saturday to Sunday.
Under these circumstances, every effort will be made to hold the race as planned with the necessary safety precautions and protective measures. A race without spectators would be unthinkable for the organizers.
Further information and the volunteer portal can be found on the Kerenzerberg Race website.
