After celebrating its 10th anniversary in September 2014, this year's event continues at full throttle. The 11th Arosa ClassicCar will take place from September 3 to 6, 2015 and once again around 150 vehicles are expected to take part in the extraordinary hill climb at the end of the Schanfigg valley.
Registration until the end of June
The entry deadline runs from now until the end of June and drivers can register their precious cars for the racing event. The following historic vehicles are eligible:
- Veteran vehicles built between 1905 and 1918
- Touring and GT vehicles built between 1919 and 1985
- Single and two-seater racing cars built between 1919 and 1990
Categories and program
The categories are Competition, Uniformity and Alpine Performance (demonstration class). The event kicks off on Thursday with a parade through the village of Arosa, where guests and locals can watch the vehicles on the roadside and cheer on the drivers.
The first training runs will take place on Friday and the races for the Arosa Grand Prix will be held on Saturday and Sunday.
Public paddock
It will be interesting to see what a varied field of participants has been put together after entries close at the end of June 2015. The exceptional vehicles and collector's items will be presented in the paddock during the event, which can be visited free of charge.
Attractive festival grounds
The organizers of the Arosa ClassicCar have decided to set up the event site on and around the Ochsenbühl artificial turf again this year. The catering facilities will once again be presented in the sports and congress center and the tent village, which will house the paddock, will be set up on the artificial turf pitch. Guests can therefore once again expect a compact and attractive racing festival site.
