The Swiss Classic Awards will be presented for the 8th time this year on Friday, December 5, 2025 at the Swiss Museum of Transport in Lucerne. A high-caliber jury of classic car specialists and media representatives will select three candidates from all the names and projects submitted, who can then be voted for by a wide audience in the categories Innovations, Rookie, Female, Historic Motorsport, Restoration and Bike.
From August 2025, the jury will call for nominations for the Swiss Classic Awards 2025 in the respective categories. Classic car enthusiasts, classic car experts and all other interested parties have until September 7, 2025 to nominate suitable personalities, projects or events via the registration form on the Swiss Classic Awards website.
From October 6, 2025, a shortlist of three nominees per category will be published via various media and made available to the general public for voting. The winners will be determined by this public vote and duly honored at the awards ceremony at the Swiss Museum of Transport in Lucerne on 5 December 2025.
Another important aspect of the SWISS CLASSIC AWARDS is that the net proceeds from the award and the award event are once again donated to the classic and vintage car scene for a sustainable project or a forward-looking initiative.
Lifetime Award
The main prize, the Swiss Classic Lifetime Award, is awarded directly by the jury. It honors individuals and groups who have achieved above-average relevance for the cause of the historic vehicle and have distinguished themselves through outstanding achievements. Another important aspect is the sustainability of their activities beyond their temporal and geographical sphere of influence.
Passion Award
There is now an additional award for outstanding projects in the individual language regions of Switzerland. As with the Swiss Classic Lifetime Award, the winners in the language regions will be selected by a jury of experts.
