This year's International Museum Day will take place on Sunday, May 15, 2022. The theme of this edition is "The Power of Museums". The Emil Frey Classics Museum is also taking part. Free guided tours will be offered at 11.00 am and 2.00 pm.
The permanent exhibition on three floors in the atmospherically restored building of the former textile factory in Safenwil covers 1500 square meters and constantly presents between 50 and 60 automotive treasures from the in-house collection.
The exhibition focuses on collector's cars from the post-war period up to the 1980s, mainly of English and Japanese origin. You can marvel at design icons such as the Jaguar E-Type, the Toyota 2000 GT and various Aston Martin models.
The Classic Car Museum is a worthwhile excursion destination for anyone who wants to experience automotive history up close.
