In conjunction with its 40th anniversary, the Saab Club Switzerland is giving itself the gift of hosting IntSAAB 2025, an international gathering of Saab enthusiasts that takes place in a different country every year. This year, Saab fans will meet in the middle of Switzerland at the Melchtal sports camp in the canton of Obwalden, which will be transformed into the Saab Camp on the weekend of August 8-10, 2025, welcoming around 250 Saab models of all vintages and their owners.
Diverse program
In addition to the attractive on-site program with BBQ and gala evening as well as a beauty contest, guests can also take part in a variety of excursions. These include enjoyable mountain hikes on Melchsee-Frutt, hitting the bullseye at the Brünig indoor shooting range in Lungern and a visit to the fascinating Swiss Museum of Transport in Lucerne. This program is complemented by smaller and larger excursions in the picturesque region around Lake Sarnen or along the panoramic road to Entlebuch and back.
History and racing
What would a Saab meeting in Switzerland be without exclusive models? In the Saab Camp, unique models that have shaped Saab history are presented in a static and dynamic way. A very rare, poison green Sonett I, legendary rally cars from the 96 and 99 series and powerful Hirsch Performance models will be on show.
From March 1, 2025, you can register for the international Saab meeting on the IntSAAB 2025 website. There is a choice of inexpensive 3-day and 1-day passes.
Further information about the event, such as the program, travel and excursions, can also be found on the website. Accommodation is inexpensive at the camp or in the surrounding hotels. And those who love something special can book a room in the art nouveau-style Hotel Pax Montana.
