Mallorca will become the central meeting point for collectors, connoisseurs and international automobile fans in the first week of October (October 2 to 5, 2024).
The top Concours de Elegance "The Grand" with international participants - various rallies, including the ladies rally "La Vitesse" but also a super sports car drive including a race track in Llucmajor, make up the varied offer.
The "Icons Mallorca" are the "Mobility Week for Good", which is actively supported by the new "MOTORWORLD Mallorca". Donations are also collected to help island projects as a charity.
When you think of Mallorca, you think of vehicle transportation - which is why it is important to note that transportation is comparable to rates to England, Germany or Italy. Several logistics companies (J. Planitzer, Rawen Logistik) offer services.
The island: Mallorca measures 98 kilometers from east to west and 78 kilometers from north to south. It is pleasantly varied and has been a legendary place of longing since the 1950s. It used to be known as "Summer Hollywood": Bardot, Gunter Sachs, Alain Delon, Elisabeth Taylor, Grace Kelly, Onassis, Sinatra, John Lennon, Belmondo, Aga Khan, Marilyn Monroe, Anthony Quinn, Errol Flynn... they've all been here.
The Icons Mallorca start at the beginning of October (October 2, 2024) with rallies across the island. East coast and west coast offer impressive routes. The rallies also include extra rides on October 3 on the Circuit Mallorca in Llucmajor.
Unique - but uniquely good: the concours cars take to the track: there are "dynamic presentations" in the exclusive time slot. Aerodynamic bodies have always been characterized by speed and movement. New perspectives are guaranteed.
The international jury: Winston Goodfellow (USA), Lorenzo Ramaciotti (I), Andrea Zagato (I), Wim Van Roy (B), Rene Staud (D), Prof. Johann Tomforde (D), Henning Thomsen (DK) to name but a few - the Honorary Board includes Jürgen Lewandowski (D) and Urs P. Ramseier (CH).
The Concours entitled "The Grand" will be presented on October 4 at the renowned Son Vida golf course in the Palma district of the same name - right next to the Castillo Hotel Son Vida, the grandiose legendary grand hotel.
At the rallies, you will be competing in family groups. Community is always welcome.
Icons Mallorca shows the island from its most wonderful side: The over 1,000 km² Unesco World Heritage Tramuntana Mountains in the west with mountain routes and hairpin bends: The Llevant region with picturesque Mediterranean harbors. Long sandy beaches, monasteries, beach houses in the east. Superyachts, large classic sailing yachts, the old town of Palma or bodegas - you will experience varied quality.
A highlight for all teams: the "Laureus & Icons - Charity Night" on October 3 above Palma in the Castell de Bellver with a Mallorcan dinner.
