Forellensee Zweisimmen invites you to the annual classic car Pentecost Meet. This year's theme is a tribute to the two great Swiss racing drivers Heini Walter and Herbert Müller. The highlight is the exhibition of a Porsche 906 racing car of the same type as the one in which Herbert Müller won the 1966 "Targa Florio" world championship race ... today one of the rarest and most valuable cars of all.
Popular excursion destination
Forellensee Zweisimmen is a popular excursion destination in the Bernese Oberland. Host Daniel "Mü" Müller has always paid particular attention to guests from the classic car and motorcycle world, and not without good reason: as the son of the great Swiss racing driver Herbert Müller, known as "Stumpen-Herbie", he quite simply has petrol in his blood, was himself a successful racing driver, classic car collector, motorcycle fan and goes full throttle in life all round.
Two Swiss motorsport legends
The traditional Whitsun MEET has a firm place in the national classic car calendar. All owners of vintage cars or motorcycles and other motorsport enthusiasts are invited, no registration required.
There will be a small "Heini Walter & Herbert Müller" exhibition with the highlight Porsche 906 racing car from 1966, a sumptuous brunch (for CHF 42/person, by reservation only), an entertainment program and plenty of space for in-depth discussions among fans. Forellensee Zweisimmen, June 4, 2017 from 10:00 am.
Further information can be found on the Forellensee restaurant website.
