Events and competitions around the world have had to be canceled or postponed due to the coronavirus crisis. The organizer "HERO Events", which hosts the legendary "Lejog" rally in December, also had to postpone the next two rallies: The "HERO Challenge One", which should have started on March 21, 2020, and the "Scottish Malts" which was scheduled from April 20 to 24.

However, the imaginative Brits are not slowed down when it comes to ideas. Without further ado, they called for a "Virtual Table Top Championship", a virtual navigation competition that can be played at home at the table.

Participants can train their navigation skills at home within the safety of their own four walls. HERO provides map material that is used to solve tasks and find routes, just like in a real rally.

Well over one hundred registrations were registered shortly after the platform went live. The championship will run until the end of May, and all proceeds from the small registration fees will be donated to the National Health Service "NHS Charity Together".

So not only can rally enthusiasts pass the time and practice their skills, they are also doing good for the community.
