The "Fantastic Plastic" meeting of plastic cars is taking place for the third time in 2015. It is open to all drivers of cars with "plastic" bodies, from the Chevrolet Corvette to the BMW Z1, from the Alpine to the Jensen C-V8, from the VW Buggy to the Renault Espace.
The greatest possible mix of brands, types and years of manufacture is desired. A list of possible vehicles can be found on Zwischengas.
French plastic cars are particularly welcome in 2015, Matra is the brand of honor.
Line-up at the Swiss Classic World Lucerne
In addition to the already well-established "Concours de Coolness" and a short gymkhana competition, a special item on the program in 2015 is the appearance at the Swiss Classic World Lucerne. The plastic vehicles will be set up in front of the halls and can be admired by trade fair visitors while Fantastic Plastic participants visit the trade fair.
Informal and simple
The "Fantastic Plastic" meeting remains a simply structured event that takes place in the Lucerne area. What is important is the social get-together and the opportunity to bring together rare and special automobiles in an extraordinary overall show.
Around 80 to 120 vehicles are expected to attend in 2015, and there are currently still places available. Registration is requested.
The participation fees (for visiting the Museum of Transport Lucerne, Swiss Classic World Lucerne and prices/organization) will be collected on site. A moderate CHF 30 (1 person in the car) or CHF 50 (several people in the car) is payable.
