After a two-year corona break, the publishers of the "Capri Post" magazine are once again organizing the meeting in Speyer. The event has become a popular platform for fans to learn tips and tricks about classic cars. The organizers benefit from their many years of experience. Gerald and Andrea Mandl have been active in the automotive scene for more than 30 years.
When it comes to Ford Capri, there is no way around them in Germany. For 28 years, the Mandls have been traveling to the cathedral city to pay tribute to the "little man's Mustang" with hundreds of Capri fans.
Between 250 and 300 Capris are expected to attend this year's meeting. The participants come from countries including the UK, Sweden, Austria and Spain. "Our fans will be on the museum grounds throughout the weekend. If you want to see the vehicles as a visitor, we recommend coming by on Saturday, July 2. That's the day when most of the Capris are on the site," reports Andrea Mandl, organizer and publisher of the Capri Post.

Technology from underwater to outer space
The Technik Museen Sinsheim Speyer is run by the non-profit organization Förderverein Auto + Technik Museum Sinsheim e. V. and, in keeping with the motto "for fans by fans", has around 3500 members worldwide. The museum is financed exclusively by admission fees, donations and membership fees from its members. All surpluses are used to maintain and expand the museums. The Technik Museen Sinsheim Speyer together display over 6000 exhibits from all areas of technology history in a variety that is unique in the world on more than 200,000 square meters. From submarines to vintage cars, from the Concorde to the Buran space shuttle, everything is represented. In addition to the permanent and changing special exhibitions, there are numerous vehicle and club meetings and events.
Open 365 days a year, the museums attract over a million visitors a year. The two IMAX large-format cinemas are a real sensation. While the IMAX 3D cinema in Sinsheim - "the sharpest cinema in the world" - presents exclusive documentaries and the latest Hollywood blockbusters, the IMAX DOME cinema in the Technik Museum Speyer projects films onto a gigantic dome.
