On September 15, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., all cars of the Triumph brand and its derivatives such as Peerless, Devin, Warwick, Triumph Italia, Moss, Bond, etc. will meet at the airfield in Zihlschlacht-Sitterdorf in Thurgau, Switzerland.
Several hundred Triumph vehicles or cars from brands based on Triumph technology are expected. There is no need to register; there is plenty of space. And the meeting is free of charge, both for participants and visitors. There is a lot on offer.
With Bootsale
At the Bootsale area, hobby collectors and dealers can haggle directly from the trunk of their car without having to make an appointment - provided it's the trunk of their Triumph! The spare parts that have been sitting in your garage for far too long could soon find a new owner.
With festival catering
Food and drink will be provided. On the one hand by the airfield's own restaurant with attractive garden terrace, on the other hand by food trucks!
With adventure park
The adventure airfield also offers attractions for young and old. Be sure to visit the adjoining animal park with its many native and exotic animals. The amusement park is a paradise for all little ones - and most of the rides are even free to use.
An affair of the heart
The meeting is organized by a group of long-time Triumph enthusiasts and collectors.
Triumph existed as an automobile manufacturer from 1923 to 1984, during which time countless models - sports cars as well as saloons and estate cars - were produced.
Other car manufacturers also based their vehicles technically on Triumph components. Peerless, Devin, Sammio and also Swallow-Doretti, to name but a few, and a considerable number of these vehicles have stood the test of time thanks to their owners, maintainers and collectors.
Triumph cars were also sold in Switzerland as early as the 1930s, some even with bodies specially made by Swiss coachbuilders. This annual, purely brand-specific meeting was created to please all like-minded people and ourselves.
It's well worth a visit, with or without a Triumph.
