Under the motto "Where Passion meets Business", international experts will meet in Frankfurt from September 10-14, 2024 to discuss new trends in the classic and vintage car business. The trade fair offers an extensive program of lectures, events and guided tours. The topics include digitalization, new technologies, recruiting young talent, training and further education. The Automechanika Classic Car Podcast already introduces some of the players from the new international network.
The demand for historic vehicles continues unabated and is a worldwide phenomenon. Sales in the global classic car market have grown by an average of 8.8 percent over the past four years, reaching 39.9 billion US dollars in 2023 (source: Statista). As a leading international trade fair brand, Automechanika uses its trade fairs worldwide to build a new B2B network in the classic car sector.
Meeting place for professionals
The event kicks off in Frankfurt, where over 300 exhibitors from the parts & components, diagnostics & repair and body & paint product areas have already announced that they will be presenting relevant products for the classic business. In addition, the following questions, among others, will be discussed in various panels and presentations with top-class, international industry players: How can young people be inspired and qualified for the classic car business? Where can digital solutions provide support in this private customer segment? And what are the future requirements for a successful business?
Specialists
Qualified specialist workshops are needed to repair and restore vehicles. At Automechanika in Frankfurt, interested workshops can network directly with classic professionals and discuss relevant topics such as parts procurement, trends and changes in the classic scene or the right paint solution.

In addition to networking and further training, historic vehicles can also be experienced live at the trade fair: Classic enthusiasts such as Italy's world-class collector Corrado Lopresto will be exhibiting selected show cars, some of which have won awards.
In addition, the first Rhine-Main Classic Rally for Automechanika with 100 historic vehicles will make a stop at the Frankfurt exhibition grounds. Motorcycle fans can also look forward to extraordinary exhibits.
