The "Grand Prix Caracciola" is a regularity rally for cars built up to 1973. There is a separate class for Morgan vehicles without a year of manufacture restriction (Tribute to Morgan).
Breathtaking mountain routes
On September 8 to 10, 2016, participants will spend three days driving on the most beautiful roads in the Bavarian Alps, taking breathtaking mountain routes, passing romantic mountain lakes, enjoying beautiful village crossings and also having the opportunity to do a few fast laps on the Salzburgring. The program also includes hill climbs on three legendary mountain race tracks.
Noble ambience
Overnight stays are in first-class hotels and, of course, the exquisite catering and elegant evening events also match the overall ambience.
Scoring is based on a points system: the fewer points, the better. The judging system is based on uniformity with pressure hose measurement. Participants compete in either the hourglass or electronic class, the year of construction is also taken into account in the evaluation.
Those who register for the sporting rally will complete 50 special stages, while 15 special stages count for the touring rally

You can still register on the event website until further notice, but if you register after 31 March 2016, you will have to organize your own hotel. Participation (entry fee) costs € 1450.00.
