The wait is over for long-time fans and newly interested parties: online registration for the creme 21 youngtimer rally 2018 will go live on January 21, 2018.
In addition to the traditionally registered vehicles from mainly the 1970s and 1980s, there will be a significant innovation in 2018:
The "wild card" rule will also give older or younger classic cars a chance this time. Exactly 21 starting places are reserved for participants whose vehicle does not comply with the regulations but reflects the spirit of the event. The nomination must be well-founded. Which characteristics could be decisive is left to the imagination of the respective applicant.
This means that "Creme 21" will once again live up to its reputation as a somewhat different classic event. The organizers want to ensure an even more "colorful" field of participants for the 17th edition of the rally, which will take place from 12 to 16 September 2018.
The "Creme 21" rally, named after the cosmetic products that achieved cult status in the 1970s, is regarded as Germany's largest classic car rally and in 2018 will once again cover around 1000 kilometers on particularly scenic routes across Germany. As usual, the exact route will only be announced shortly before the start of the tour.
The unmistakable character of the rally includes in particular the imaginatively designed special stages, which demand a great deal of skill and creativity from the participants as well as driving ability. Last year, around 250 historic vehicles completed the tour, which ended with a finish at the BMW motorcycle factory in Berlin.
