Digitizing journals is a time-consuming and expensive process. But digitization is the only way to make information that was previously only available on printed paper searchable and readable online. Since 2010, Zwischengas has dedicated itself to making information from the history of the automobile accessible online.
The Automobil Revue (1906 to 2011), ADAC Motorwelt (and its predecessor Motorfahrer) (1903 to 2000), Powerslide (1963 to 1975), Auto Exklusiv (1983 to 1992), Octane (2012 to 2020), SwissClassics Revue (2004 to 2020) and several other magazines are now available in full on Zwischengas.
And 13 volumes (2001 to 2013) of "auto motor und sport" have just been added to the existing volumes from 1952 to 2000 (plus "Das Auto" (1946 to 1951)). This means that the Zwischengas magazine archive available online now comprises almost 700,000 digitized individual pages.
You can not only search for test reports, vehicle presentations or reviews of events, but also vehicle advertisements, for example if you are researching the history of your own rare car. In addition, there is of course new price information from back then, buying advice from the past and much more.
Anyone interested in individual/comparative and endurance tests, including Aston Martin Vanquish, Porsche 996 GT2, Mini Cooper S, Ferrari 575 M, Audi R8 or similar, or simply in the youngtimers of the new millennium, will enjoy the freshly digitized ams vintages.
The search function allows direct access to specific magazines, and you can also jump directly to specific pages of a magazine via direct access.
Simply go to the overview page of the Zwischengas magazine archive...
