This volume presents 32 automobiles from the Enzo Ferrari era, selected by photographer Peter Vann as the most impressive models. Starting with the Alfa Romeo 8C Monza, which Ferrari led to success as racing director of the Scuderia in 1932, through to the F40 from 1990, which is the last model for which Enzo Ferrari was responsible.
Sorted chronologically by year of release, the vehicles are presented in numerous photo galleries and then introduced in short portraits. The majority of the selection are racing cars, such as the 315S or the Dino 2016P.
With these unique photographs, Peter Vann sees part of his work from over 30 years presented in a new and coherent way. As one of the world's best-known automotive photographers, he presents the cars in an impressive way. The publication of this book is also a fitting tribute to the 70th anniversary of the sports car manufacturer and Italy's top brand in 2017.
Limited to 1,500 copies, numbered and signed by Peter Vann, this volume also comes in an elegant slipcase.
Peter Vann plays with light and sharpness like no other. He photographs cars like character actors, he studies them and is interested in their history. At a time when the Ferrari clan was still like a royal family, he became one of the most important contemporary automotive photographers in the world.
