First the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este was postponed from May to October 2020 due to Covid-19, now it has been canceled completely. The beauty event is taking a "time out" and will not be back until 2021 ...
Too many restrictions
With various countries struggling with the second or even still the first wave of the coronavirus pandemic, it does not make sense to hold the Concorso regularly, which is heavily dependent on its international participants and visitors. As it is also difficult to predict how the situation will develop, the organizers have decided not to hold the event in 2020.
From May 28 to 30, 2021, the popular and famous Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este will then take place again at the usual time as in other years.
