Dolce Vita - the term may have become a bit of a cliché, but Italy embodies an attitude to life that is defined by enjoyment, temperament and a pronounced sense of the finer things in this world like almost no other European nation. The latter include pasta, wine and fashion as well as timeless design, fast racing cars and elegant two-wheelers. In the "Italy Hall", visitors to Stuttgart Retro Classics will be whisked away on a journey to "Bella Italia".
Club and dealer presentations
In addition to generous club and dealer presentations of classic Italian vehicle brands, the new edition of "Passione Italiana" in particular offers a colorful showcase of the country beyond the Alps, which has been the longing of Germans since Goethe's journey to Italy: Automobiles, automobilia, accessories, design, delicacies, art and music provide an impressive overview of the "Made in Italy" product range.
The focus is, of course, on Italian driving culture, the cradle of which is the Emilia-Romagna region, the "Terra di Motori" - home of Scuderia Ferrari, numerous race tracks and automobile museums as well as the organizer Vision Up, which is organizing the successful show under the patronage of the Italian Cultural Institute for the second time in Stuttgart.
Italian motorcycles
A special highlight for all two-wheeler fans is the "Italian Motorcycles" exhibition organized by the AMSC Leonberg (Allgemeiner Motorradsport-Club Leonberg e.V.):
The 100 or so machines on display include "big" brands such as Moto Guzzi and Ducati, but also manufacturers less well-known in Germany such as Italjet, Mondial and Moto Morini, which was founded in Bologna in 1937 and still produces "dream bikes" by hand to this day.
