The first Eigenthaler hill climb was held in 1923. To mark the 100th anniversary, the Eigenthaler Revival for historic racing and sports cars, motorcycles and sidecars will be held on September 9 and 10, 2023. Great importance is attached to the participation of vehicles from the era.
The Eigenthaler-Revival is a performance demonstration on the closed Obernau - Holderchäppeli route, not a race.
3800 m with 400 m difference in altitude
The historic Obernau - Holderchäppeli hill climb route measures 3800 m with a difference in altitude of 400 m and a maximum gradient of 14 %. The Obernau - Holderchäppeli mountain race track was already considered extremely demanding in the past, with many difficult combinations of bends. The race is run in two categories.
